After School Special is a 5-piece American 80s cover band from Oklahoma City featuring both male and female lead vocalists, making them a uniquely versatile act for any crowd. Formed in 2023, the band delivers a high-impact tribute to the decade that defined pop culture. Blending groovy bass lines, searing guitar riffs, and dynamic dual vocals, After School Special moves seamlessly from arena rock and synth-driven new wave to dance-floor pop and fist-pumping anthems.

Drawing inspiration from some of the biggest hit makers of the 80s, the band’s male/female vocal range allows them to authentically cover a wider spectrum of 80s hits and tailor each set to the room—whether it’s big hooks, big hair, or big sing-alongs. Polished, energetic, and relentlessly fun, After School Special doesn’t just play the 80s—they bring the soundtrack of your cassette collection back to life.
